Ed Tittel - President, LANWrights, Inc.
Ed Tittel is a writer who's contributed to over 100 computer books, plus many hundreds of Web and magazine articles. He is also a contributing editor to Certification magazine, writes the "Must Know News" newsletter for CramSession.com, is a tip writer and designated expert for numerous TechTarget Web sites, and is series editor for Que Certification's Exam Cram 2 and Training Guide books. He is the recipient of the 2004 Networking Professional Association Career Achievement Award, recently presented at Networld+Interop Las Vegas, and has twice been named Runner-up for the "Favorite Study Guide Author" category in the CertCities.com "Readers Choice Awards" for 2002 and 2003.
As the creator of the Exam Cram series, now published as Exam Cram 2, Ed has worked on over 200 certification-related books on Microsoft, Novell, CompTIA, information security and Sun-related topics. From 1996 until 2001, Ed taught in the Certified Webmaster Program at Austin Community College and was a member of the NetWorld+ Interop faculty, where he specialized in Windows-related courses on security and performance topics. Ed is a member of ACM, the IEEE Computer Society and the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).
