How can I set up a RAC learning environment with the least cost for self education? Please provide some direction.

EXPERT RESPONSE
Well, starting from scratch without available resources from a job site, the cheapest configuration I can think of is using Linux and Firewire. You need two machines, with two NICs and a hard drive that supports access from more than one sever.

Here's a a nice explanation for a relatively cheap setup.
