Bernard Golden - CEO, Navica
Bernard Golden is CEO of Navica, a consulting firm providing open source strategy, implementation and training services. He founded Navica in 2001 after two decades of experience in starting and building successful IT-related organizations. He previously served as a venture partner for an international venture fund and has held senior positions in large IT organizations, global consultancies and enterprise software companies such as Informix, Uniplex Software and Deploy Solutions.
Bernard is a recognized authority on open source. He is the author of Succeeding with Open Source (Addison-Wesley, Aug. 2004) and the creator of the Open Source Maturity Model (OSMM), a formal methodology for locating, assessing and implementing open source software.
