Can you suggest any Web sites that give a good grounding in network security, maybe as a lead into Cisco security courses? QUESTION POSED ON: 11 JUL 2006
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Mike Rothman I'll point you to the host of the Expert Answer Center, our friends at TechTarget. They have a number of security resource centers and online "schools" that can give you a pretty good background on all sorts of security technology. They aren't going to give you product specific information at a very technical level, but it's a start.

If you are trying to get product specific administration information, there aren't a lot of online options. Though folks like SANS and Security University have highly regarded training courses.

You may also want to check out the blogosphere. There are a lot of technical details buried in the billions of blog posts and if you use a blog search engine like Technorati, you may be able to get something of use.
