Experts on Demand
What is your feeling about the BSP skill set? I have been hearing a lot of statements about NetWeaver and Web Dynpro being the best things to get into instead of BSPs. I am by no means an expert in BSPs, but I have had over 1 1/2 years of experience with them.

The BSP folks I have talked to have told me that they feel they need to "upgrade" their BSP skills with the latest NetWeaver and Web Dynpro skills. Obviously, BSP skills are still valuable to have in the market, but we're starting to get that feeling that BSPs are "yesterday's technology." When you look at future releases, you can see that SAP is de-emphasizing the BSP technology in favor of other approaches. So, it's not necessarily bad to have the BSP background, but I think you are right to be looking ahead to adding new skills to your BSP knowledge base. I would look to add the new NetWeaver skills rather than spend too much time pursuing more BSP experience.
