Can you comment on Skype as a SME business solution? What about as a personal traveling solution?

As a personal traveling solution, Skype is superb. It runs on top of broadband wireless connections you are likely to use in a hotel or at a Wi-Fi hotspot. Yet as a complete SME business solution, Skype can definitely be found wanting. It lacks assured quality of service, has trouble with firewalls and is not compatible with most IP telephony call management software utilities. So to sum up: Skype is great for mobile, not so great for the SME office environment.
