As we can't get broadband here, we're on ISDN for the Internet. Does this mean we can't set up VOIP on our phones? QUESTION POSED ON: 08 MAY 2006
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Russell Shaw The general consensus is that although VoIP is possible over ISDN, the challenge for you will be that ISDN speeds are right at the lower limit for VoIP call consistency and quality. It will be your decision whether or not you want to experiment with VoIP in your present Internet connection circumstances -- and run the risk of a call that may have excellent quality one minute and experience dropped voices and static the next.
