We have Active Directory set up, with Windows 2003 Server as our DC. On our network I would like to have a Group Policy for some users that can only use the Internet at lunchtime. Our old network had a Windows NT4 server plus a proxy server, and I configured a group to have access to the Internet only at lunchtime and joined the selected users to that group. Is there a way of something similar on a Windows 2003 Server? QUESTION POSED ON: 02 DEC 2005
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Laura E. Hunter Windows 2003 Server will not natively perform the function you're looking for. You'll need to deploy an add-on utility such as Microsoft's ISA server or a third-party tool like SurfControl.
