Can I install WPS 5.1 on an existing WAS 6 Notes/Domino system? I have a server that already has WAS6 Notes/Domino running. I also want to install WPS 5.1 on that (WPS 5.1 need not be using WAS 6). Is it possible? If so, what are the CDs, fixpacks, etc. I need to have to accomplish it? QUESTION POSED ON: 08 AUG 2005
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Tony Higham WebSphere Portal 5.1.0.1 (released about 30 days ago) does include support for WAS 6 as the application server. According to the official documentation source, the the InfoCenter, WAS 6.0.0.2 with the following fixes is required.

WebSphere Application Server Version 6.0.0.2 The following WebSphere Application Server interim fixes are also required:
  • PK00274
  • PK00842
  • PK00361
  • PK02123
  • PK01524
  • PK03834
  • PK05321
  • PK04784
  • * PK06246
  • * PK05953
  • * PK06140

Note: Except for those listed above with an asterisk (*), these interim fixes are provided with the WebSphere Portal product in the was6_fixes directory on the Setup disc. The fixes marked with an asterisk (*) can be downloaded.

As far as where you get the CDs from, I'd say that you need to contact your local IBM software representative to get those.
