Is there any way that I can create a group in the Public Name and Address Book and allow only a number of staff to have access to update this group? QUESTION POSED ON: 17 JUN 2005
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Mathew Newman Yes, you can have specific users modify specific groups in the Public Name and Address Book (Domino Directory). To do this:
  1. Set the ACL to include the user or group to have these rights.
  2. Give those users "Author" access WITHOUT the ability to create documents.
  3. Do not grant any additional roles to the user/group.
  4. Create (or modify) a group record, and include under the "Administrators" field on the "Administration" tab those users/groups you want to have edit rights to the group.
