When I try to create a group mailing list, I get the following error: "Invalid or nonexistent document and cannot locate form: GROUP." We use Notes 5.0.10 running on 170 AS/400 that is on an older release. What would cause this error? QUESTION POSED ON: 17 JUN 2005
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Mathew Newman Check the design of the database you are working with. If you do not have a form in the design list with the name (or alias) of "Group," there's your issue.

Find the template that the database is based on and either:

  • Refresh the design of the database or
  • Copy the "Group" form from the template and paste it into the design of your DB (answer "Yes" when asked to update if the template changes).
