Is it possible to bypass user acceptation in the rename process? In fact we want to add LotusScript or formulas when a user accept the rename. Do you know where we can find the windows that invite the user to accept the rename? Is it in a Notes template or is it an API?

I know it's possible in R6, but we have a R5, so I'm not sure if I can do it. QUESTION POSED ON: 14 JUN 2005
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Mathew Newman Sorry -- don't have much of an answer for this one.

As far as I am aware, the routine was completely modified in ND6 to have name changes, certificate expirations and so on automatically processed by the client during the authentication process. In R5, this is performed ONLY via user interaction (i..e, the "Accept name change" dialog you refer to).

I am not aware of any process to automate this in R5 (including APIs).
