My Windows XP PC (IBM NetVista) seems to shut down; however, the power fan and CPU fan seem to continue running. How can I force all components of the PC to power off? QUESTION POSED ON: 09 MAR 2005
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Bernie Klinder I would check IBM's Web site to see if this a known issue and your PC's documentation to check for BIOS settings that may affect this. It seems that either a process is still hanging, or part of your system BIOS isn't sending the message to the power supply. If you can't resolve the issue with online support, I'd give IBM phone support a call.
