I am running SUSE 8.2 with several on- and offsite users. Is there a method to restrict the list of possible users on the X login screen? Currently, all accounts for the Linux box display in the GUI login window. QUESTION POSED ON: 18 NOV 2004
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Bernard Golden I am not a Linux admin guru, but I will take a crack at this. I don't think there is a way to accomplish this, as it displays all the available accounts to enable everyone with an account to login. There is no good way for it to know which ones you want to display and which ones you don't, so it just displays all of them.
