How do I configure my Lotus Notes version 6 to connect to my service provider and use it from home as a home addition? I'm using the AON provider in Austria, which does not support Notes at all.

The Lotus Notes client supports non-Domino servers through "Account" documents in your personal address book. The Advanced\Accounts view shows them. POP (typical POP3 account), IMAP (like POP3, but with synchronized folders), SMTP (for output Internet traffic) and LDAP (for directory services) are all supported. For what it's worth, the Outlook client also supports these account types, if you prefer to use the client with its MSDE. Both clients can connect to a variety of servers.
