When creating a customized SAP report or online program, is there a way create a distinct sound for each message type? For example, play one beep sound for an error message and a different beep sound for a warning message. I'm thinking along the lines of how you can play different .wav sounds in Microsoft Windows. Thank you.

In Java or VB, write a program that produces the beep that you require. Then call it via RFC from your ABAP, on the appropriate error event. There are front ends to SAP that could allow this also.
