I am having a problem with a virus/Trojan that affects IE6. I have a networked patched box, and while using the back button on the browser, a dialog box will pop up and say iexplore.exe has generated error and the program will close. I have scanned this box with Adaware 6 and Spybot, done all Windows updates (it is a Win2k system), and I have even hacked the registry. This error in IE still happens since I did all that I did, and I am not sure what else to look for. My antivirus is McAfee current definitions. I did remove and reinstall IE. Could there be anything else in the registry I might want to scan for? Any suggestions would be nice.

For situations like this, I've had to run more than one spyware tool. Check out PestPatrol and see if it helps. Also make sure you performed all the steps in this Ask the Expert question.
