In my organization, people want Notes to function more like Outlook. We both know that Outlook and Notes are two different animals, but end users don't. One of the major complaints is the Notes Add to Address Book feature does not allow a person to edit the full address book doc, like Outlook does. Can anything be done to change this? QUESTION POSED ON: 10 AUG 2004
QUESTION ANSWERED BY: Michael Lazar I don't know of anything to change that dialog/interface. Like you said, it is a personal preference. If your users are really that upset over the Notes client, you can always look to use Outlook for mail access. Sure, you give up the security, flexibility and collaborative capabilities of the Notes client, but people could edit the entire address document from that initial interface.
